Francisco Pinheiro (Lisbon, 1981) is an artist and he has been showing in different art spaces, namely at Diego Rivera Gallery, The Lab and 1038 Project Space in San Francisco, CA; in Portugal he exhibited at Módulo Gallery (Lisbon), Espaço Campanhã (Porto), Contemporary Art Museum of Elvas (Elvas); he created an installation for the reading room of Camões Library (Lisbon) and organised a show at his house in Campolide (Lisbon), among other projects. In 2014, he founded the West Coast collective with the artist Luísa Salvador. Currently he is an artist-in-residence at Carpe Diem Arte e Pesquisa (Lisbon). Francisco holds an MFA in New Genres from the San Francisco Art Institute (EUA, 2014) as a Fulbright/Carmona e Costa scholar and a BA in Painting from the University of Lisbon (PT, 2005). He lives and works in Lisbon.
